1099Work Ledger — Privacy Policy

Who We Are

1099Work Ledger is developed by Small Animal Surgeries, Inc. This privacy policy explains how the app handles your information.

What Data the App Stores

1099Work Ledger stores the following data locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:

• Your business profile (name, address, email, phone, logo)
• Client information (names, addresses, contact details)
• Invoices and line items
• Business expenses
• Service types and rates
• Scheduled shifts

All of this data is created by you within the app and is stored entirely on your device. The developer does not have access to any of it.

iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, the app can sync your data across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit framework. This sync is handled entirely by Apple's infrastructure.

The developer does not operate any servers, cannot access your iCloud data, and has no ability to read, modify, or delete your synced information. Your data is protected by your Apple ID and Apple's privacy practices. For details, see Apple's Privacy Policy.

Calendar Access

The app can create calendar events for scheduled shifts using Apple's EventKit framework. When you grant calendar access:

• Events are created in your device's Calendar app
• Calendar data stays on your device and in your own iCloud account
• The developer has no access to your calendar

Calendar access is optional. The app will ask for your permission before accessing your calendar, and you can revoke this permission at any time in Settings.

Photo Library & Camera Access

The app may request access to your photo library or camera solely to let you import a business logo for your invoices. The selected image is stored locally on your device as part of your business profile. No images are uploaded or transmitted anywhere.

What We Do NOT Collect

To be completely clear, 1099Work Ledger does not:

• Collect any personal data
• Use analytics or tracking tools
• Include any third-party SDKs
• Display advertisements
• Require user accounts or login
• Transmit data to external servers
• Share data with third parties
• Use cookies or similar technologies

Data Retention & Deletion

Since all data is stored on your device, you have full control over it:

• You can delete individual records (clients, invoices, expenses) within the app at any time
• Deleting the app from your device removes all locally stored data
• To remove iCloud-synced data, you can manage your iCloud storage through your device's Settings

Children's Privacy

1099Work Ledger is a business tool designed for independent contractors. It is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Since we do not collect any contact information, we encourage you to review this page periodically.
